Advantages of ceramic gauge blocks:
Ceramic gauge blocks are made of zirconia (ZrO2) ceramic material, which has excellent characteristics such as high density, hardness, and stable mechanical properties. These characteristic ceramic measuring blocks maintain high precision and long lifespan during manufacturing and use. In addition, ceramic materials have good wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and non-magnetic properties, further improving their stability and reliability in practical applications. At the same time, its service life is 5-10 times that of steel gauge blocks.
Regarding the level of gauge block:
The gauge block is divided into five levels, namely k,00, 0, as-1, as-2, with 00 level having the highest accuracy. The commonly used levels are 0,as-1, as-2.
Taking a 100mm gauge block as an example, the maximum length deviation in level 0 is ± 0.3 μ m, and the maximum length deviation in AS-1 is ± 0.6 μ m.
